CALL FOR PAPERS


Authors are invited to participate in the Symposium by presenting a paper within the delineated framework. In addition to the main topics, papers on other important subjects of the central Conference themes will be considered for the inclusion in the Scientific Program. Authors interested in submitting a paper are kindly requested to prepare a synopsis of four to six A4‐pages in ISTSID’19 template. Acceptance will be based on quality, originality and relevance. Contributions should be original and not published elsewhere or submitted for publication during the review period.

    • SUBMISSION

  • The papers accepted and presented in ISTSID'2019 will be published in the conference proceedings.

  • All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference.

  • The initial submission for review will be limited between 06 - 08 pages, including references, figures and tables (at least 10pt font, 2-column format).

  • Contributions should be submitted electronically as PDF

  • Using the IEEE conference publishing templates IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates , as well as formatting instructions, are available online on this website.

  • Each participant could present only one paper

  • All acceptance invitation and attestation will be send via Email.

    The best selected and registered papers will be submitted for publication in the special issues of the following journals:


  • Defect and Diffusion Forum (SCOPUS).

  • Solid State Phenomena (SCOPUS).

    • Awards

    Awards will be provided to some Outstanding Paper and some Student Excellent Presentation selected and conferred by the ISTSID’19 Program Committee. In order to qualify for the award, the paper must be presented at the conference.


    My Thesis in 200 seconds

    "My Thesis in 200 Seconds" is a competition for PhD students to present their research topic in simple terms to a jury made up of Lecturer/researchers, as well as a diverse non-specialist audience.Each PhD student must present his or her research project in 200 s in a clear and concise, yet convincing manner.After the competition completed, Awards will be delivered to excellent PhD students presented their research in the ISTSID’19.
