    CALL FOR PAPERS

The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for researchers and technologists to present new ideas and contributions in the form of technical papers, panel discussions as well as real-world evaluation of many ideas in communications, control systems and signal processing employed. The first conference will bring together various developers to discuss the current status, technical challenges, standards, fundamental issues, and future services and applications. CCSSP 2020 seeks to address and capture highly-innovative and state-of-the-art research from academia, the industry as well as standardization advances. All full paper submissions will also be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. The full paper submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program.

    Submission

    All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format through easychair. Manuscript must be written in English, limited to 6 pages and prepared according to the standard IEEE conference proceedings format (A4, Two-Column). Upon the acceptance, authors will be required to register and present the paper in oral or poster sessions. The conference offers plenary lectures delivered by leading experts in the field. Comments of the reviewers will be sent directly to the authors. IEEE LaTeX Microsoft Word templates , as well as formatting instructions, are available online on this website.

      SPEAKERS

      Habib Zaidi is professor, he is head of the PET Instrumentation & Neuroimaging Laboratory at Geneva University Hospital and faculty member at the medical school of Geneva University. He is also a Professor of Medical Physics at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) and Adjunct Professor of Medical Physics and Molecular Imaging at the University of Southern Denmark. He is actively involved in developing imaging solutions for cutting-edge interdisciplinary biomedical research and clinical diagnosis. He has been elevated to the grade of IEEE fellow and was elected liaison representative of the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP) to the World Health Organization (WHO). He is developer of physics web-based instructional modules for the RSNA and Editor of IPEM’s Nuclear Medicine web-based instructional modules. His academic accomplishments in the area of quantitative PET imaging have been well recognized by his peers and by the medical imaging community at large since he is a recipient of many awards and distinctions among which the prestigious 2003 Young Investigator Medical Imaging Science Award given by the Nuclear Medical and Imaging Sciences Technical Committee of the IEEE, the 2004 Mark Tetalman Memorial Award given by the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the 2007 Young Scientist Prize in Biological Physics given by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), the prestigious (100’000$) 2010 kuwait Prize of Applied sciences (known as the Middle Eastern Nobel Prize) given by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) for "outstanding accomplishments in Biomedical technology", the 2013 John S. Laughlin Young Scientist Award given by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM), the 2013 Vikram Sarabhai Oration Award given by the Society of Nuclear Medicine, India (SNMI), the 2015 Sir Godfrey Hounsfield Award given by the British Institute of Radiology (BIR), the 2017 IBA-Europhysics Prize given by the European Physical Society (EPS) and the 2019 Khwarizmi International Award given by the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST). Prof. Zaidi has been an invited speaker of over 160 keynote lectures and talks at an International level, has authored over 265 peer-reviewed articles in prominent journals and is the editor of four textbooks..

      Monji Kherallah is Professor was born in Sfax, Tunisia, in 1963. He received the Ing. Diploma degree, the Ph.D. and HU in electrical engineering, respectively in 1989, 2008 and 2012, from University of Sfax (ENIS). For fourteen years ago, he was an engineer in Biotechnology Center of Sfax. Now he is a professor in Faculty of Science of Sfax and member in Research Group of Intelligent Machines: REGIM-Lab. He has more than 70 papers, including journal papers and book chapters. His contribution also includes some international project as DAAD project from April 2007 to March 2010 and EOLES Tempus project from September 2012 to 2015. He is feudatory of professional master of Metrology and Instrumentation: MPMI created on 2015/2016 in Faculty of Sciences of Sfax. His teaching skills are around these themes: Analog Electronics, Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Sensors and industrial Instrumentation, Pattern Recognition, Conflict Management, Business negotiation techniques. He is a member of IEEE and IEEE AESS Tunisia Chapter Chair, 2010 and 2011. He is reviewer of several international journals .

      Abdeldjalil Ouahabi is Professor (from 1995) and Project leader of Signal-Image at Polytech Tours, France, where he was also Deputy Director in charge of international relations. In 1983, Abdeldjalil OUAHABI received his Ph.D. degree in Automatic-Control and Signal Processing, from INP Grenoble (France) and in 1992, he received the State Doctorat (Doctorat d’état) degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from jointly INP Grenoble (France) and USTHB (Algiers). His research interests include image and signal processing, biomedical engineering and embedded systems. He has a strong interest in sampling theories multiresolution algorithms, optimal filtering, spectral analysis, wavelets, and the use of fractals for signal and image processing. Prof. Abdeldjalil Ouahabi is the author of over 170 published papers in these areas and he was the general chairman of several international conferences including ICSS’94, Sidi-Fredj, Algiers, Sept. 1994 and the Club EEA Congress, Tours (France), May 2009. He is the Guest Editor of several scientific journals including “ Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing” Journal. Springer and books (Iste-Wiley, Springer and Hermes-Lavoisier). He has a strong reviewing and consulting activities with more than 50 journals (mostly IEEE) and some International Organizations, Companies and Ministries including EU, UNESCO, Alcatel-Lucent, Sagem, GE, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of France, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research of Algeria … Prof. Abdeldjalil Ouahabi obtained many awards including the best paper from the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (1999) and recently (2013), he obtained the title of “Distinguished Visiting Professor” from Bucknell University, Pennsylvania, USA..

      Jalel Ben Othman is professor; received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both in Computer Science from the University of Pierre et Marie Curie, (Paris 6) France in 1992, and 1994 respectively. He received his PhD degree from the University of Versailles, France, in 1998. He is currently full professor at the University of Paris 13 since 2011 and member of L2S lab at CentraleSupélec. Dr. Ben-Othman's research interests are in the area of wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, VANETs, IoT, performance evaluation and security in wireless networks in general. He was the recipient of the IEEE COMSOC Communication Software technical committee Recognition Award in 2016, the IEEE computer society Meritorious Service Award in 2016, and he is a Golden Core Member of IEEE Computer Society, AHSN Exceptional Service and Contribution Award in 2018 and the VEHCOM Fabio Neri award in 2018. He is currently in steering committee of IEEE Transaction on Mobile computing (IEEE TMC), an editorial board member of several journals (IEEE Networks, IEEE COMML, JCN, IJCS, SPY, Sensors…). He has also served as TPC Co-Chair for IEEE Globecom and ICC conferences and other conferences as (WCNC, IWCMC, VTC, ComComAp, ICNC, WCSP, Q2SWinet, P2MNET, WLN,....). He was the chair of the IEEE Ad Hoc and sensor networks technical committee January 2016-2018, he was previously the vice chair and secretary for this committee. He has been appointed as IEEE COMSOC distinguished lecturer from 2015 to 2018 where he did several tours all around the world and he has been appointed as a IEEE VTS distinguished lecturer since July 2019. He is member of IEEE technical services board since 2016..

      Location

      The conference will be held at the university of Echahid Hamma lakhader - El-Oued city, Algeria, El Oued (Arabic: اﻟﻮادي‎, Berber languages: Suf meaning the River), Souf or Oued Souf is a city, and the capital of El Oued Province, in Algeria. The oasis town is watered by an underground river, hence its name is El-Oued which enables date palm cultivation and the rare use (for the desert) of brick construction for housing. As most roofs are domed, it is known as the "City of a Thousand Domes".El Oued is located 400 miles (640 km) south east of Algiers  (the capital city of Algeria), near the Tunisian border.
